Peskov reported on Russia's understanding of the difficulties facing Serbia.
Moscow understands the unprecedented pressure Belgrade is under. This was announced on November 4 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"We understand the unprecedented pressure being exerted on Serbia. That's why the story there is not easy at all. We understand the difficulties the Serbs are going through," TASS quoted him as saying.
This is how Peskov commented on the statement by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic about his readiness to supply ammunition to the European Union (EU), regardless of where they will be sent later.
Vucic said on November 2 that Serbia was ready to sell ammunition to EU member states even if it entered Ukraine. According to the Serbian leader, the country is already "actively cooperating with European friends militarily" and is ready to continue to cooperate with them further. At the same time, he stressed that Serbia remains militarily neutral.
