Gopichand Hinduja, Britain's richest man, has died

Gopichand Hinduja, a businessman and head of an Indian conglomerate, has died at the age of 85. He was considered the richest man in the UK. This was reported on November 4 by the Financial Times newspaper.

Hinduja was born on January 29, 1940. Since the 1990s, he has consistently been among the richest people in Britain and Asia. Gopichand Hinduja became chairman of Hinduja Group after the death of his brother Srichand Hinduja in 2023.
