A new professional holiday has been established in Russia

The Russian government has approved a new professional holiday, Welder's Day, which will be celebrated on the last Friday in May. This was reported on the government's website on November 2.

"A new professional holiday, Welder's Day, will be celebrated in late spring. Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Government, ordered to fix it in the calendar. It is proposed to make the last Friday of May a holiday date, since it is this day that has informally established itself in the professional community of welders," the message says.
