The Ukrainian opposition plans to charge President Vladimir Zelensky with undermining the country's security amid energy problems, Politico magazine reported on October 31, citing a source.

According to the opposition forces, the head of state had to prevent prolonged power outages and heating interruptions.

"The opposition is going to accuse Zelensky of undermining Ukraine and declare that he should have provided precautions in advance," the newspaper notes.

The article also recalled that Zelensky had previously been repeatedly criticized for ineffective decisions in the field of energy system management.
