On November 1, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated employees of the bailiff service on their professional holiday, noting their significant role in strengthening law and order and protecting the interests of citizens.

The Head of State stressed that the history of the service dates back hundreds of years, and the current stage of its development is associated with the reforms of the 19th century. Today, according to him, bailiffs make a significant contribution to ensuring the enforcement of court decisions and strengthening the rule of law.

"The broad powers and guarantees provided to bailiffs and the accumulated experience make it possible to achieve strict and unconditional execution of judicial acts, conduct inquiries and participate in the search for persons who have violated the law, make a significant contribution to replenishing the budget at all levels, and defend the rights, including of children and other categories of citizens in need of special protection and support." — the president noted.

Putin also expressed gratitude to the staff serving in the new regions of Russia and in the border areas, where the situation remains difficult. He recalled that bailiffs should act decisively, but correctly, showing respect for each person.

"Remember that you serve the country and the people of Russia, and that your vocation is always to be on the side of law and justice," the head of state stressed.

Earlier, on October 30, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin congratulated employees of the capital's Federal Tax Service department on the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Russian tax authorities. He thanked the tax authorities for their contribution to the development of digital technologies and noted that many of the solutions implemented by the Russian Federal Tax Service have no analogues abroad.
