The Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs plans to organize a secret meeting of the so-called "coalition of the willing" in Madrid on November 4 to discuss further assistance to Ukraine. This was reported by the newspaper El Mundo on October 31.

"The meeting will be organized in conditions of "the strictest secrecy" without the use of telephones: they will be stored in a specially designated place. It is forbidden to spread information about the meeting on social networks," the publication reports the contents of the document.

The meeting will discuss increasing aid to Ukraine, including military aid, and will also put forward initiatives aimed at increasing pressure on Russia.

On October 25, The Telegraph newspaper announced a change in the strategy of the "coalition of the willing." According to the material, now it is not about supporting Ukraine, but about putting pressure on Russia. According to the publication, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is behind the attempt to convince the leaders of the coalition countries to reconsider the strategy.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on October 30 that a "coalition of willing" was exerting pressure on Russia, using financial and economic levers for this purpose. According to her, the steps being taken to exclude benefits from frozen Russian assets are a sign that the resources of Western countries are "running out."
