On the morning of October 31, a massive accident occurred on the Proletarian Bridge in Tula: a tram, two minibuses and a car collided, a source told Izvestia. Four people died, and another 25 received injuries of varying severity.

According to Dmitry Milyaev, Governor of the Tula region, in his Telegram channel, six minutes after the incident was reported, 12 ambulance crews arrived at the scene of the accident. Emergency services, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate, as well as the government and the regional administration are working on the site. Specialists establish the circumstances of the incident and take measures to eliminate the consequences of the accident.

Two criminal cases have been opened into the incident: under Part 3 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code ("Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements, resulting in the death of two or more persons by negligence") and under Part 5 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code ("Violation of traffic rules and vehicle operation, resulting in the death of two or more persons by negligence"). more people").

Mukhin added that nine more patients received outpatient medical care. There are no children among the victims.
