- The number of flights between Pskov and Moscow has been reduced due to a shortage of aircraft
The number of flights between Pskov and Moscow has decreased. Instead of 14 flights per week, there are 10 flights. The changes came into force on October 26, with the transition to the autumn-winter schedule.
Artem Tarasov, General Director of Pskov International Airport "Princess Olga", told the Pskov News Feed that the reason for the reduction was a shortage of aircraft.
Previously, Pskov residents could fly to the capital in the morning and return in the evening, but now this opportunity is not provided every day.
Tarasov warned that the inconvenience was temporary. With the start of summer navigation, the number of flights will be restored, additional flights are possible.
In the summer of 2024, the first passenger flight took off from Pskov to Makhachkala for the first time. The main purpose of organizing flights on this route is tourism.
