Fraudsters are extorting money from Russians under the pretext of paying the 13th salary and New Year's bonuses. Lawyer Ivan Kurbakov told about this on October 31.

According to him, using the festive mood and financial expectations of citizens, the attackers are tricking them out of funds and confidential information.

"There are fraudulent schemes related to the 13th salary and bonuses on the eve of the New Year. The main problem is that before the holidays, citizens become less attentive to their savings," Kurbakov told RIA Novosti.
