A child died after falling from a building under construction in Jerusalem.
In Jerusalem, a boy fell from a building under construction and fell to his death during a "million protest" organized by Orthodox Jews in Israel. This was announced on October 30 by Izvestia journalist Nikita Kulyukhin.
"And they [the children] reached the highest floors. And from there, unfortunately, one fell and died," correspondent Nikita Kulyukhin reports from the scene.
Despite the ban on climbing the building under construction, hundreds of Orthodox Christians managed to climb the high-rise building.
It is noted that among those climbing the structure were mostly children, one of whom fell and died on the spot from his injuries.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that hundreds of thousands of Orthodox Jews in Jerusalem would take part in a spontaneous rally against conscription. To ensure security, the police have been placed on high alert. Jerusalem's Central railway station is closed for the duration of the rally, and the main highway connecting Jerusalem with Tel Aviv is closed to private transport in both directions.
