The Russian government will allocate over 34 billion rubles to support preferential loans to agricultural producers. This was announced on October 30 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

"The head of state [Vladimir Putin] spoke about the need to increase the efficiency of the industry and make it even more technologically advanced. One of the most important tools for fulfilling this task is preferential loans to agricultural producers. <...> Today we will allocate over 34 billion rubles for such purposes. The funds will allow subsidizing at least 39 thousand allocated loans," Mishustin said.

It is noted that this measure will allow manufacturers to take out loans, both for a short period and for longer periods. It is expected that the decision on preferential subsidies will help farmers to continue their work successfully.

Earlier, on October 27, Dmitry Patrushev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, said that seasonal field work was coming to an end in Russia, and at the moment the harvest had reached the level of 135 million tons in bunker weight. He noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin has set a goal for a serious increase in agricultural production by 2030. The Deputy Prime Minister clarified that this is the first national project that is being implemented in the field of agriculture and agriculture, with the exception of the initiative from 2006, which was also aimed at developing the industry.
