VTB and Postbank have launched a service that will allow you to conveniently and securely transfer your products from one bank to another — remotely in a few clicks. The process takes a couple of minutes and is fully protected thanks to encrypted communication channels, the VTB press service said.

For an online transfer, a Mail Bank customer needs to perform several actions in the mobile application or web version: click on the "Become a VTB customer" banner and then on the "Join" button; in the section with personal offers, sign all documents online; confirm the transfer with an SMS code. After that, the funds and banking products will be serviced by VTB. The client will be able to perform all financial transactions through VTB Online.

"The joining of the Post Bank to VTB expands financial services and services for millions of Russians in all regions of the country. Digital migration is a reliable bridge that allows customers to transfer from one bank to another quickly, safely and without interrupting their usual service. All products and services from Postbank will be instantly transferred to VTB's infrastructure — you won't even have to change your card. An additional advantage when switching online will be special conditions for deposits and savings accounts, loyalty programs and other products," said Dmitry Breitenbikher, member of the VTB Management Board.

The integration process of the two banks will be completed in May 2026. Today, in more than 2,000 branches, customers can apply for VTB products: debit or credit card, deposit or savings account, connect a loyalty program or a "Family Bank", apply for a car loan or mortgage, and transfer a pension or salary to VTB.
