All Russians have the right to an old-age pension, including those who have never worked. This was announced on October 30 by Igor Pozdnyakov, director of the Consumer Protection Department of Roskachestvo, in an interview with RT.

"However, compared to a regular insurance pension, which is awarded if you have a certain length of service and a sufficient number of pension coefficients, the size of the social pension is lower and the right to it arises later," the expert explained.
