You can only share the code for making an appointment with a doctor with your loved ones by prior arrangement, and the clinic staff will not require it. Natalia Shindryaeva, the chief physician of the city polyclinic No. 2, announced this on Tuesday, October 28.

"No one else can call or text you to get the code. If you have received an SMS with a code, but no one you know has notified you in advance of the intention to confirm, then we recommend that you ignore the message," she told the Moscow City News agency.

Earlier that day, the Moscow Department of Health announced that from November 1, to add another person's compulsory medical insurance policy to the EMIAS service, view his medical records and make an appointment, a one-time confirmation from the policyholder via an SMS code will be required, IA Regnum reports.

To allow the use of his policy data, the patient must have access to his electronic medical record, RT reports. You can apply for access to an electronic medical record through the portal mos.ru . If you have a full account, access is granted automatically.

Making an appointment with a doctor on your own still does not require additional confirmation.
