Starmer discussed pressure on China and arms supplies to Ukraine with Trump

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer held telephone talks with US President Donald Trump, during which the parties discussed the issue of supplying long-range weapons to Ukraine and measures to pressure China to stop buying Russian oil. The British politician said this on October 27 in an interview with Bloomberg.

"I did talk to him about the meeting he's going to have with President Xi, so I think the conversation was important," Starmer said.

According to the premier, the dialogue took place on Sunday, on the eve of Trump's upcoming meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, scheduled for October 30.
