The Air Defense forces eliminated eight Ukrainian drones in the sky over the Tula region. This was announced on October 26 by the governor of the region Dmitry Milyaev.

"In the sky over the Tula region, the air defense units of the Russian Defense Ministry destroyed eight Ukrainian drones," he said in a Telegram message.

It is specified that no one was injured as a result of the incident. No damage to the infrastructure was recorded.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense systems destroyed 22 Ukrainian drones over the regions of the Russian Federation in four hours. It is noted that 19 drones were neutralized over the Belgorod region, two drones were eliminated over the Kursk region and another UAV was shot down over the territory of the Moscow region.
