Actor Gennady Nazarov has died at the age of 58.

Gennady Nazarov, the actor and star of Peter Todorovsky's film "What a Wonderful Game", died at the age of 59. This was announced on October 26 by the Pyotr Fomenko Workshop Theater on the Telegram channel.

"Gennady Nazarov has passed away. <...> Bright memory and most sincere condolences," the publication says.

The actor is remembered for his roles in Sergei Zhenovach's theatrical performances at the Theater on Malaya Bronnaya — Rudoy Panko in "The Night before Christmas", Slavka in "Five Evenings".

In addition, Nazarov taught for 20 years in the workshop of Evgeny Kamenkovich and Dmitry Krymov at GITIS.
