- Six people were injured as a result of drone attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Belgorod region
As a result of drone attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the Belgorod region, six civilians were injured. This was announced on October 26 at the operational headquarters of the region.
"Six more civilians were injured by drone strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces," the Operstaba wrote on its Telegram channel.
It is noted that three people were injured in Belgorod — they had mine-explosion injuries and shrapnel wounds to their arms and legs. The victims are receiving medical care at the city hospital No. 2.
In addition, three more people, including a 14-year-old teenager, were injured in a drone attack in the village of Doroshch, Grayvoronsky district.
"Ambulance crews are taking a man and a woman to Belgorod City hospital No. 2, and a child to the children's regional clinical hospital," the headquarters said.
Earlier, on October 25, as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike, the dam of the Belgorod reservoir was damaged. It was clarified that if the dam was destroyed, there would be a threat of flooding of the floodplain of the river from the Kharkiv region and several streets of settlements in the Belgorod region, where about 1 thousand people live. Later, on October 26, the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov reported partial flooding of private land after the Ukrainian Armed Forces hit the Belgorod reservoir dam. According to him, the water partially flooded a little more than 10 private plots.
