Several UAVs were shot down over two districts of the Leningrad region
Air defense systems are operating in Tosnensky and Kirishsky districts of the Leningrad Region, and several unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been destroyed. This was announced on October 25 by the governor of the region, Alexander Drozdenko.
"Air defense is operating in Tosnensky and Kirishi districts, several UAVs have been destroyed," the Telegram channel said.
According to preliminary information, there are no casualties or damage.
On October 24, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the air defense forces shot down 21 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in five hours over the regions of Russia. It was clarified that 12 UAVs were shot down over the Bryansk region, seven drones over the territory of the Belgorod region, and one more drone was destroyed over the Kaluga and Smolensk regions.
