Sergunina spoke about the winners of the Moscow Design Workshop competition
Six winners of the eighth season of the Moscow Design Workshop competition have been selected. In total, more than 330 applications have been received from representatives of the creative industries, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.
The competition was attended by artists, designers, marketers, students of specialized areas of higher education institutions. They proposed souvenir projects for five partner organizations from different regions of our country, Sergunina said.
"After an expert selection, the participants joined teams, and then developed and presented 29 of their design concepts to customers," said the deputy mayor. The jury evaluated the concepts and selected six winners. Several criteria were taken into account at once, including the accuracy of the task and originality.
For example, one of the winning teams of the competition designed an Art Deco design for the Russian National Theater Award "Golden Mask". For the promotion of domestic products under the brand "Made in Russia", a collection inspired by folk tales and symbols of our country was created. It includes T-shirts, umbrellas, pillows, sleep masks, suitcase covers, passport covers.
The Design Workshop competition has been held in Moscow since 2023. Over the years, 550 designers and 40 customer partners have become its participants, including the Tretyakov Gallery, the Total Dictation project, VDNH, the Zotov Center cultural space, and others.
