The expert pointed out the hidden danger of popular neural networks
Information security expert Alexey Lukatsky spoke about the hidden danger of popular neural networks among users.
In conversation with aif.ru On Friday, October 24, he noted that artificial intelligence poses no danger if used wisely. According to him, the risk is not related to AI itself, but to the people who use such technologies.
"Artificial intelligence itself cannot be dangerous, but the people behind it, yes, they can. And, most likely, they are already collecting information, just like any social network collects data about its users, just like any search engine — about search queries and people's interests. Any system based on artificial intelligence will study the requests that the user makes in their interface," the expert explained.
He stressed that for an ordinary user, AI does not simplify the collection of information, but rather complicates the task, since it requires additional skills and abilities to process large amounts of data.
Lukatsky also commented on the possible impact of AI on intellectual skills. In his opinion, technology only transforms the way information is searched, and does not interfere with human development. The potential decline in communication skills does not depend on AI, but on people's personal characteristics.
The expert added that serious research is needed for accurate conclusions about the long-term impact of AI, since the active use of such technologies began relatively recently, writes RT.
On October 23, information security expert Alexey Lukatsky warned about the danger of excessive enthusiasm for the use of artificial intelligence. The expert noted that with a reasonable approach, any tool does not pose a danger, unlike senseless diving without a clear understanding of the desired result.
At the same time, German Klimenko, head of the Council of the Digital Economy Development Fund, noted in an interview with NSN that traditional Internet search was rapidly losing popularity. Users are increasingly turning to artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT to get ready-made answers, notes 360.ru .
On October 22, Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Social Development, announced that an artificial intelligence-based monitoring system would be launched in Moscow to monitor the condition of patients at high risk of heart attack and stroke. She noted that in the pilot mode, such monitoring is already helping polyclinic doctors to manage almost 30 thousand patients, the Moscow City News agency reports.
