Two people were injured in a head-on collision of passenger cars in the Sakhalin region. The regional State Traffic Inspectorate reports this in its Telegram channel.
The accident occurred on Thursday morning, October 23, on the 8th km of the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk–Korsakov highway. It has been previously established that the 54-year-old driver of the Nissan Patrol SUV did not yield to the Honda Fit when turning at an unregulated intersection.
A 56-year-old Honda driver and his 28-year-old passenger were injured in a head-on collision. They received various injuries, SakhalinMedia news agency writes.
The circumstances of the accident are being established, and an inspection has been organized.
On October 8, on the 55th km of the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk-Kholmsk highway, a Hino truck drove into oncoming traffic and crashed into a Toyota Hiace minibus. As a result of the collision, the minibus driver and his two passengers were killed.
