Almost all members of the European Union (EU) and NATO have rallied in an attempt to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia. This was announced on October 24 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"Almost all members of the European Union and NATO have once again rallied to inflict a strategic defeat on our country, unleashing a war against Russia through the Nazi regime, which was illegally brought to power as a result of a coup in February 2014," he said in a video message during the opening ceremony of the VIII Global Forum of Young Diplomats.
