A resident of a house in Krasnogorsk told about the incident with the UAV
The explosion caused by the arrival of a drone in a multi-storey building in Krasnogorsk damaged part of the facade of the building and scattered fragments throughout the courtyard. On October 24, Izvestia showed footage from the scene.
"The drone flew from the back of the house to the apartment on the 14th floor. The explosion was so strong that it tore out part of the facade and scattered fragments all over the courtyard," said Leonid Klimenchuk, a correspondent for Izvestia.
Elizaveta Shakhunova, a resident of the house who lives on the 14th floor, said that at first she heard a strong bang, after which an explosion occurred. According to her, there were no people on the floor. At first, the residents of the building did not understand what exactly had happened.
"I heard a loud bang, looked out the window — I couldn't understand what happened <...> It was very scary, there was a little smoke, but most likely it was dust <...>...> After 10-15 minutes, people probably started running out to watch," the resident shared.
She added that after that, residents began to write off in the chat at home, offer help, and also called emergency services.
The explosion in the Krasnogorsk house became known on October 24. The incident occurred on Cosmonauts Boulevard. Four adults and one minor were injured in a drone attack on an apartment building.
Dmitry Volkov, the head of the Krasnogorsk city district, said that he had visited the children's clinical center where one of the injured children was staying and the hospital where the injured adults were staying. At the same time, all the victims are conscious.
Also, one of the residents of the house, Ivan Moskalev, told Izvestia that the victims of the drone attack were crushed by the stones of the destroyed apartment, but they were saved. He stressed that the victims were conscious.
