Soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces told the details of the liberation of the village of Ivanovka

Soldiers of the 228th Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 90th Guards Tank Division of the Center group of forces told the details of the liberation of the village of Ivanovka in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The relevant footage is published by the Russian Defense Ministry on October 24.

The success of the operation was ensured by careful planning, stealth and surprise. The assault groups twice forded the Volchya River unnoticed, using thermal insulation ponchos, and entered the settlement in small groups from different directions.

"The task was received to take the settlement, during which our reconnaissance group conducted control over the area...> Next, we made up a route on how best to enter so that the enemy would not notice us. After working out the route, they began to pull groups of people to this settlement," said Ruslan Azizov, commander of the assault platoon.

One of the groups, having escaped detection, went out to the enemy from the front, occupied three houses and engaged in battle with five Ukrainian militants in the fourth house. Two surrendered, three fled. The stormtroopers received important information and continued the sweep. Another unit was operating from the flank, choosing an unpredictable route. They managed to approach the enemy unnoticed and force three militants to surrender without a single shot, who provided valuable information about the location of the firing points.

Before the assault began, artillery and operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) prepared a springboard for the offensive. Calculations of multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) "Grad" and barrel artillery struck enemy positions in the Ivanovka area. Attack drones destroyed fortifications, equipment and personnel, as well as enemy communications equipment. The reconnaissance UAVs provided reconnaissance of routes, the choice of crossing points and the adjustment of the actions of the assault groups.
