Global oil prices continue to rise, with the cost of one barrel of Brent crude surpassing the $64 mark for the first time since October 10. This is evidenced by the trading data on October 23.

As of 05.28 Moscow time, the price of Brent crude futures is $64.06 per barrel (increased by 2.38%).

November futures for WTI crude oil also showed growth, reaching $59.9 per barrel.

Evgeny Shatov, a partner at Capital Lab, reported on August 25 that the price of Brent crude oil had fallen sharply amid expectations of an oversupply. According to him, this is due to the increase in production by OPEC+ countries and independent producers, which put the market under pressure.
