Flushing of the Novokutuzovsky tunnel complex in the west of Moscow has started

Specialists of the Moscow City Management Complex have begun flushing the Novokutuzovsky tunnel complex in the Western Administrative District. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the department on Wednesday, October 22.

It is noted that the tunnel complex is located at the intersection of the Third Transport Ring and Kutuzovsky Prospekt and includes six tunnels. In three days, it is planned to completely clean the walls, cladding and surfaces using an alkaline solution, the Moscow City News Agency writes.

A team of six people was involved in the work, as well as tunnel and irrigation equipment with a high-pressure device.

In 2023, the Novokutuzovsky tunnel complex underwent major repairs: the cladding, fire extinguishing systems, lighting, electricity, ventilation systems were updated, new asphalt was laid and seams were repaired, Moscow 24 notes.
