A river with crocodiles was approved for competitions at the 2032 Olympics
The Fitzroy River in the central part of the Australian state of Queensland has been approved by the national Organizing committee of the 2032 Olympic Games in Brisbane for rowing and canoeing competitions. This was announced on October 21 by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
The controversial central Queensland River, selected to host rowing and canoeing events at the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Brisbane, has received its first green light.
