Criminologist Mikhail Ignatov expressed the opinion that the theft of jewelry from the Louvre in Paris could have been ordered by very wealthy people.

In conversation with aif.ru On Tuesday, October 21, an expert suggested that the stolen jewelry is likely to end up in the private collection of very rich people.

He noted that such items are unlikely to be included in official auctions, as, in his opinion, the theft was made to order. The expert also admitted that the performers might not know the identity of the customer.
