A 57-year-old man was injured in an explosion at an oil refinery located in the Romanian city of Ploiesti. This was reported on October 20 by Agerpres agency with reference to a statement distributed by the Prahova County Emergency Situations Inspectorate.

"The explosion, which did not cause a fire, occurred on the territory of an economic operator located on Mihai Brava Street, Ploiesti municipality," the publication says.
