President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has signed a law on the introduction of liability for illegal actions with drones. This was reported on October 20 by the BelTA news agency with reference to the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"Administrative responsibility is being established for the illegal importation into the territory of Belarus, storage, trafficking, operation or manufacture of civilian unmanned aerial vehicles," the article says.

It is noted that for the repeated commission of such actions, the violator faces criminal liability. The law comes into force 10 days after its publication.

"This legislative act is aimed at strengthening the protection of the airspace of Belarus," the publication clarifies.

In August, the commander of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces of Belarus, Major General Andrei Lukyanovich, reported more than 300 violations of the state border by drones since the beginning of 2025. According to him, more than 800 cases of violations of the rules for the use of airspace have also been identified in the republic.
