Tyumen veterinarians rescued owls with fractured spines
In Tyumen, specialists from the animal rehabilitation center "U Lukomorye" helped four owls. Two of them were diagnosed with spinal fractures and two more had traumatic brain injuries.
According to the <url> news agency, with reference to representatives of the center, they have four Ural children under treatment. They all arrived almost simultaneously. The severity of injuries varies for everyone.
The owls are brought to the center by local residents. The staff of the center said that birds usually come to the city in search of food. They are not used to tall buildings and power lines, crashing into them at high speed and getting injured.
Earlier it was reported that four falcons were rescued in Transbaikalia from being used for illegal hunting. Rare birds included in the Red Book were found in the cars of two Chita residents. They transported three balaban falcons and a gyrfalcon immobilized.
