A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. The units of the North group of Forces have improved their tactical situation. Formations of the tank, jaeger brigades, airborne assault and assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), as well as the air defense brigade were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Khrapovshchina, Sadki, Pushkarevka, Pavlovka, Andreevka, Kondratovka and Varachino of the Sumy region. In the Kharkiv direction, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces heavy mechanized and motorized infantry brigades were hit in the areas of the settlements of Volchansk and Dvurechansk of the Kharkiv region. The enemy's losses amounted to over 210 military personnel, three armored combat vehicles, 12 vehicles, two artillery pieces, including a 155-millimeter Bogdana self-propelled gun and a US-made HIMARS multiple rocket launcher. Two warehouses of material assets were destroyed.

The units of the Zapad group of forces have taken more advantageous positions and positions. The manpower and equipment of seven mechanized, assault brigades, a battalion of unmanned systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, three air defense brigades and two National Guard brigades were defeated in the areas of Petrovka, Kurilovka, Nechvolodovka, Shyikovka, Kovsharovka, Boguslavka, Kharkiv region, Krasny Liman and Ostrovskoye DPR. The enemy's losses amounted to 230 soldiers, a tank, two armored combat vehicles, 28 vehicles and an artillery piece. 11 electronic warfare stations and four ammunition depots were destroyed.

The units of the Southern Group of Forces have improved their position along the front line. Formations of five mechanized and mountain assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the air defense brigade, were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Seversk, Kramatorsk, Konstantinovka, Ivanopolye, Slavyansk, Stepanovka and Berestok of the DPR. The enemy's losses amounted to up to 205 military personnel, two tanks, a Cossack armored fighting vehicle, nine pickups, a self-propelled artillery installation, as well as an M113 armored personnel carrier, an HMMWV armored car and a MaxxPro armored vehicle manufactured in the United States. The American AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar and three ammunition depots were destroyed.

As a result of active offensive actions, units of the Center group of forces liberated the village of Chunishino in the DPR. The manpower and equipment of two heavy mechanized, six mechanized, two amphibious assault, jaeger, assault brigades, two assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, two marine brigades and a defense brigade were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Toretsk, Grishino, Novogrigorovka, Novopavlovka, Dimitrov, Volnoye, Novonikolaevka and Krasnoarmeysk of the DPR. The losses of the Ukrainian armed forces amounted to 485 soldiers, a tank, a Cossack armored fighting vehicle, six vehicles and an artillery piece.

The units of the Vostok group of forces continued to advance into the depth of the enemy's defenses and liberated the village of Poltavka, Zaporizhia region. Formations of two mechanized brigades, two assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and two air defense brigades were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Dolinka, Egorovka, Dorozhnyanka, Zaporizhia region, Alekseevka and Privolye, Dnipropetrovsk region. The enemy's losses amounted to over 380 military personnel, four armored combat vehicles, 11 vehicles, three field artillery guns and a warehouse of materiel.

Units of the Dnepr group of forces defeated the manpower and equipment of the mechanized, mountain assault brigades, three coastal defense brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and two air defense brigades in the areas of the settlements of Otradokamenka, Zmievka, Lviv, Sadovoye, Kherson region, Pavlovka and Malaya Tokmachka, Zaporizhia region. The enemy's losses amounted to more than 90 military personnel, 14 vehicles, three artillery pieces, a P-18 air target detection radar station, two electronic warfare stations and an ammunition depot.

Operational-tactical aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of groups of troops of the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation defeated transport infrastructure facilities supporting the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as temporary locations of Ukrainian armed formations in 143 districts.

Two guided aerial bombs, three US-made HIMARS multiple rocket launchers and 323 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down by air defense systems.

Since the beginning of the special military operation, 667 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 91200 unmanned aerial vehicles, 633 anti-aircraft missile systems, 25575 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1604 multiple rocket launchers, 30590 field artillery guns and mortars, 44349 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
