Singer Irina Allegrova and composer Igor Krutoy were accused of plagiarizing someone else's song. Singer and Internet poet Sergey Krotikov told Izvestia about this on October 18.

According to him, Allegrova's new song "Alone" is his poem, written back in 2008. Krotikov clarified that the composition, which was performed as part of the "My Wave" contest in August this year, was used without his consent, and the author was identified as a certain "Nikolai Nevanyan."

The singer stressed that this man has nothing to do with the authorship of the song. He added that later, on October 3, the song was published on streaming platforms, indicating Alkviad as one of the authors, but no one contacted Krotikov.

"We are preparing documents for filing in court. We hoped that they would somehow take some action on their own. Igor Krutoy and Irina Allegrova are famous people. I was just surprised that I would do that in my old age," said the singer.

On September 18, Victoria Oleinikova, the daughter of Alexander Shishinin, the founder of the Combination group, who was killed in 1993, demanded that the rights to 16 of the band's musical works be recognized for her, including the hit American boy and Russian girl. The defendants in the case were the Russian Society of Authors (RAO), the Jam publishing house and composer Vitaly Okorokov.
