"Yulia needed an urgent abdominal surgery, then another one. But yesterday she was transferred from the intensive care unit to the general ward. She is already on the mend," explained Sheksheev.

He added that relatives, friends and members of the film crew are close to the TV presenter and support her in difficult moments.

"We hope that she will return to active work in the coming weeks," the director concluded.
