The Bank of Russia warned against investing in instruments of foreign markets
Russians should not invest in instruments of foreign markets, as this leads to risks associated with sanctions. This was announced on October 17 by Elizaveta Danilova, Director of the Financial Stability Department of the Central Bank.
"There is no universal recipe for all occasions. We believe that despite the reduction in interest rates, they are higher than inflation, and deposits in rubles remain attractive. If you invest in foreign exchange instruments, then there are currency risks associated with possible currency fluctuations," RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.
