Liksutov announced a shortlist of the best design projects in the industry

68 projects reached the final of the national award "The Best industrial Design of Russia". This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow Government for Transport and Industry.

"In total, more than 500 projects took part in the award this year, 68 of them were shortlisted," Liksutov said. In particular, the shortlist includes companies with design projects for industrial and medical equipment, vehicles, food and medicine packaging, clothing and footwear.

Liksutov noted that on behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the city systematically supports the development of the industrial sector. The "Best Industrial Design of Russia" award is one of the flagship projects of the authorities of the capital. Its purpose is to identify the creative achievements of the country's enterprises and draw attention to the national visual culture, the deputy mayor emphasized.

The competition is held jointly with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. This year, in honor of the 120th anniversary of the Ministry, one of the finalist projects will receive a special award in the Grand Prix of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

This year, representatives of 63 regions took part in the award's competitive program, said Anatoly Garbuzov, Minister of the Moscow Government and Head of the Investment and Industrial Policy Department. 175 metropolitan enterprises took part in the competition program, and 31 projects from Moscow reached the finals.

The award ceremony for the laureates and winners of the popular vote will be held on October 17. The event will be held at the METMASH film factory, where the laureates will receive coveted statuettes and diplomas.

The "Best Industrial Design of Russia" award was established in 2023. In 2024, in accordance with a decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, the award was awarded national status, which indicates its high importance and recognition by the professional community.
