Ukraine will incur consequences if the country's leadership decides to strike at Moscow using American Tomahawk missiles. This was announced on October 15 by Michael Clarke in an interview with Sky News, which was published on YouTube.

"It will be useless. <...> Only if they don't want to incur the consequences. I think it would be an idiotic idea," he said.

According to the expert, the transfer of such missiles to Ukraine could lead to an escalation of the conflict. Clark also called for listening to Russia's position on this issue.

On October 15, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov warned of the possible consequences of supplying Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine. According to the diplomat, such a move could cause "tremendous damage" to relations between Russia and the United States.

On October 6, US President Donald Trump announced the actual decision on the supply of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine, but did not announce it. According to him, he first plans to figure out exactly how the allocated shells will be used.
