Hegseth's plane made an emergency landing in Britain due to a crack in the glass
The plane of the head of the Pentagon, Pete Hegseth, signaled an emergency over the Atlantic and turned around, heading for the UK. The windshield of the aircraft is cracked. This was announced on October 15 by Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell.

According to the FlightRadar service, the plane gave an emergency signal while flying over the Atlantic Ocean near the coast of Ireland. After that, he changed course and flew towards the UK. There he landed at Mildenhall Air Force Base, which is located near Cambridge. The landing of the vessel was also confirmed by Parnell.
"The plane landed in accordance with standard procedure, and everyone on board, including Minister Hegseth, is safe," he assured.
