Energy facilities have been prepared for the heating season in the Tula region
In the Tula region, the results of the preparation of electric power facilities for operation during the heating period were summed up. A meeting of the headquarters for ensuring the safety of electricity supply was held on October 14, TSN24 reports.
By the beginning of the season, more than 246 km of overhead lines, 910 transformer and distribution points had been overhauled, 973 hectares of trails had been cleared, 2,025 poles, 103 km of wires and 15 km of cables had been replaced.
88 measures were also carried out as part of the preparation of CHP and GRES, and emergency response training was conducted in Yefremov, Volovsky and Kamensky districts.
In addition, the headquarters reviewed a new procedure for local government authorities to act in the event of massive power supply disruptions to consumers.
Earlier in September, Izvestia reported that Russian scientists had developed a diamond nanofluid that converts solar energy into heat. The development will improve and reduce the cost of environmentally friendly heating systems.
