On October 15, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov pointed out the impossibility of a diplomatic pause in the conflict with Ukraine due to constant provocations from Kiev.
"[Russian President Vladimir] Putin said he was open to turning the conflict into a diplomatic channel. The problem is that the Kiev regime provokes on a daily basis. Under these conditions, we do not envisage a diplomatic pause," he said during a briefing.
