A severely beaten 14-year-old teenager underwent surgery in Kaliningrad.
In Kaliningrad, a 14-year-old schoolboy who was brutally beaten by an 18-year-old man underwent a complicated operation. The boy's father announced this on October 13.
"The operation lasted more than three and a half hours and was successful," he said in an interview with the local newspaper Klops.
According to the man, the boy's face was all "incised, stitched and swollen," and "his eye was red and swollen." He added that his son's bandages were removed so that the stitches would dry out and he would be able to monitor and process them.
The victim's father noted that after the criminal case was initiated, the suspect's lawyer contacted him and told him about the defendant's desire to apologize to his son and their family.
The man added that at the time of the operation, "he was not up to it," and after the operation, no one contacted him and was not interested in his son's condition.
"Apparently, that impulse was "for show" in order to mitigate the punishment later," the teenager's father concluded.
On September 28, it was reported that a schoolboy was seriously wounded in the stomach during an incident involving teenagers on Arts Square in the center of St. Petersburg. It is noted that at the scene, the police found an 11-year-old boy with a stab wound to the abdomen, he was hospitalized in serious condition. A criminal case has been opened into the incident under Part 2, paragraph 3, Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Intentional infliction of serious harm to health using an object used as a weapon").
