Figurines of cats symbolizing different nations appeared in Yevpatoria

Miniature statuettes of 10 cats have appeared in the tourist center of Yevpatoria. They symbolize representatives of different nations and professions.

According to the head of the city administration, Alexander Yuryev, there is a cat-a tourist, a tour guide, a violinist and a bath attendant. Here you can also see a dancing Tatar cat and a cat holding a Russian samovar. All the figures will become part of an excursion object for children.

The city administration of IA SevastopolMedia noted that the cats were not chosen by chance, as they are silent witnesses of history, keepers of embankments and courtyards. The image of a cat is associated with slowness and comfort, and this corresponds to the atmosphere of Yevpatoria.

In September, it was reported that there were plans to build a cat park in Crimea. The project is being implemented by an initiative group. The site for the park has already been identified. This is an abandoned plot of 13 acres in the village of Zaozernoye, which is located far from residential buildings. A location with a walking and feeding area for tailed animals will be set up on the wasteland at the expense of the charity foundation. Fencing is planned around the perimeter of the park.
