Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Rechan has resigned from his post in the country's new government. He announced this on October 13 at a joint press conference with the chairman of the ruling Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) Igor Grosso.

"I am flattered by the PAS's trust in me and the party's intention to invite me to continue my duties as prime Minister. However, my decision — a personal decision — is different," the Telegram channel quotes Rechan as saying. News.Maker.md .

He believes that the diaspora has done everything possible to ensure that Sandu and her political force remain in power in the country.

According to the Moldovan Central Election Commission, opposition forces won 49.8% of the vote in the country's parliamentary elections. The ruling Action and Solidarity party won first place with a final score of 50.2%, which was won by the diaspora vote. Thus, PAS received 78.61% of the votes in foreign polling stations.
