The calculation of the Lancet barrage ammunition of the Center group of forces destroyed armored vehicles and artillery pieces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Red Army area of the special military operation (SVO). This was announced on October 13 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The military personnel of the ZALA Lancet high-precision reconnaissance and strike complex of the Center group of forces continue systematic work on the destruction of military equipment, command posts and artillery crews of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Red Army area.

They conduct systematic combat work to identify and destroy various enemy targets. The reconnaissance is conducted using ZALA drones, the operators of which identify military installations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for subsequent destruction with barrage ammunition. Depending on the nature of the target, different types of ammunition are used.

"We also had a case where we hit the Baba Yaga calculation. You could see it right there — "Baba Yaga", two pieces, several cars. We hit the target — there were two hundredths and three hundredths. Then we filmed how it all burns, how they arrive, how they evacuate," said the Lancet cameraman Eduard Mkrtchyan.

In addition, technician Roman Nikolaev noted that the defeat of Ukrainian howitzers has become a common thing for military personnel. According to him, they can use the Lancet barrage ammunition about seven times a day. He also added that the fighters are eliminating tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, multiple rocket launchers and other weapons.

On September 12, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the gunners of the Vostok group of forces, using self-propelled 2S3 Acacia howitzers, destroyed the fortified area of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporizhia region. Reconnaissance using UAVs helped to detect enemy dugouts and engineering structures used for defense and deployment of personnel. After accurately determining the coordinates, artillery fire led to the destruction of these objects.
