Two people were injured when a Ukrainian drone attacked a car on the Khomutovka–Kalinovka highway in the Khomutovsky district of the Kursk region. This was announced on October 12 by the governor of the region, Alexander Khinstein.

"An enemy drone on the Khomutovka–Kalinovka highway in the Khomutovsky district attacked a moving car. A 70-year-old woman has a mine explosion injury, traumatic amputation of her right hand. A 51-year-old man has a shrapnel wound to his right shoulder," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

A woman and a man were hospitalized in the Bryansk region. He specified that they were the closest to this place. Khinstein instructed the regional Ministry of Health to keep in touch with colleagues.

The day before, a civilian was killed in the village of Biryukovka in the Kursk region as a result of an attack by an APU drone. It was clarified that the drone was attacked by a truck, resulting in the death of the driver. Also as a result of an attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) killed a civilian in the village of Nizhnemakhovo, Kursk region.
