The electronic warfare system "Dome of Donbass" intercepted 605 Ukrainian drones in a week in the DPR

The Dome of Donbass air defense and electronic warfare system prevented 605 terrorist attacks on the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in a week. This was announced on October 5 by the regional directorate of the FSB of Russia.

"During the week, 605 terrorist attacks from the enemy were prevented. 470 drones were eliminated over Donetsk and Makeyevka, and 135 over Gorlovka," the report says.

According to the agency, the Ukrainian militants continued to use the tactics of combined raids using drones.

It is noted that one of the intercepted drones was the Czech model FP-1, which was armed with a high-explosive explosive charge FP-105 with damaging elements.

In addition, a Ukrainian Baba-Yaga multirotor drone carrying several warheads, including L1,6 KO and MAB-L70K, was intercepted in the Makeyevka area. A Leopard-type aircraft drone with a jet engine containing many damaging elements was destroyed near the Ilovaisk railway junction.

All intercepted drones were neutralized by explosives experts, and the warheads were destroyed without harm to the civilian population and infrastructure, the ministry concluded.

On October 5, the FSB reported on the prevention of 720 terrorist attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the DPR. It was noted that 447 vehicles were eliminated over Donetsk and Makeyevka, and another 273 over Gorlovka. The ministry added that the Ukrainian militants continue to use the tactics of combined raids, and also pointed to the recorded increased activity of enemy reconnaissance drones that were heading towards Horlivka and the Donetsk-Makeyevka agglomeration.
