An inspection of the country's Armed Forces has begun in Belarus, bringing them to full combat readiness. This was announced on October 11 by the country's Ministry of Defense in its Telegram channel.

"As part of the combat readiness check, on behalf of the Commander—in—Chief of the Armed Forces, the President of the Republic of Belarus [Alexander Lukashenko], a set of measures is being carried out to bring combat readiness to the highest levels in order to verify," the message says.

It is noted that a number of units of the Belarusian army will take part in the transfer to combat readiness: they will move to designated areas and carry out the activities provided for by the order.

According to the report, the inspection is led by the State Secretariat of the Security Council of Belarus.

On September 16, Belarus noted the good training of troops during the Zapad exercises. On the same day, Russian leader Vladimir Putin visited the Mulino training ground, where the main stage of the exercises took place. He put on a field set of military uniforms without shoulder straps, with patches "President of the Russian Federation" and "Putin V.V.", as well as chevrons with a tricolor and the coat of arms of Russia — a double-headed eagle.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
