Stavropol regional roads have been prepared for winter

Roads of regional importance in Stavropol region have been prepared for the winter period. The authorities have stocked up on road signs and reagents, the press service of the regional government reported on Thursday, October 9.

412 units of special equipment will be used to clear and maintain the trails: bulldozers, combined vehicles, loaders and other machines.

Road workers have 5,000 tons of technical salt and 45,000 tons of sand at their disposal. In the near future, another 10 and 80 tons will be delivered to the region, respectively.

The authorities also agreed with the State Traffic Inspectorate on a traffic management scheme if restrictions have to be imposed, writes IA StavropolMedia.
