The MAX messenger now has the ability to use a Digital ID, which allows you to confirm your age and status. This was announced on October 9 in the press service of the application.

A digital ID is an electronic alternative to paper documents, which can be used to confirm the status of a student or parent with many children. You can also confirm your age, for example, when purchasing products with age restrictions. Identification is confirmed through a dynamic QR code, which is updated in the messenger profile.

To create a Digital ID, Russian citizens over the age of 18 need to go through one of the proposed methods of identity verification: using biometrics, a new type of passport, or a driver's license. If you choose a driver's license, you need to follow a few simple steps: confirm entry through your face or fingerprint, log in to the Gosuslug profile and go through the verification procedure using your driver's license.

The technology was launched in pilot mode on September 15. Today, it is being implemented by the largest retailers in Russia, such as Magnit, X5 and VkusVill, where customers can confirm their age when purchasing age-restricted goods. The new feature is available in Magnit, Pyaterochka, Perekrestok and VkusVill stores in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar and other Russian cities.

Earlier, on October 7, the messenger's press service announced that the service for signing documents became available to MAX users. With the help of the Gosklyuch chatbot, it will be possible to independently sign purchase and sale agreements, appeals to the court and other documents.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
